Their beautiful jewels are handmade in Paris, with sustainability at the core of everything that they do. They produce to order/bespoke to avoid wasting stock.
Agathe is the founder of Opale bijoux. She was passionate about art and jewellery from an early age, studied applied arts, then joined the Atelier Chardon Savard which reinforced her desire to work in the world of fine jewellery.
After several years at a jewellery school, she decided to create her brand, Opale bijoux.
Opale bijoux stands out for its creations made entirely by hand in its Parisian workshops.
The bag:
To keep it consistent with their aesthetic the team came up with this natural canvas tote with a twist: 2 handles (a long shoulder one and 2 short) + a drawstring closure with ruching at the top (the inside of the drawstring is actually a lighter weight 5oz cotton, to allow smoother closure of the rough natural cords, which traditionally do not glide well on canvas (we received expert tips and prototyping of this by Selvakumar at our factory in Pondicherry, India.)
The message:
The print is printed with water-based ink and celebrates both Valentines day and the 8 year anniversary of this proudly female led business.
